The Monkees: Changes Throughout Time AU
Changes Throughout Time is a Monkees AU that is currently a on-going series on Ao3, which you can find here (INSERT AO3 LINK HERE). The series has no long form multi chapter fics instead going for shorter multi chapter fics and one shots jumping around throughout timeline.
Changes Throughout Time is an Monkees au based and built upon the universe of the original Monkees TV Show, mostly being based off Season 1 of the Show while also lightly pulling from the real life Monkee's lives. As such the Monkees lives and personalities have been changed to reflect parts of their real life counter parts, there is still a clear difference between the two, backstories and personality traits still being mainted from the Show. The main difference between CTT and the Original Show is the tone between the two, CTT putting importance in characterization, Relationships between Characters and grounded feeling to The Characters and The World. While a lot of the more out there concepts and plots aren't canon within this au, that doesn't mean that all the episodes and concepts aren't canon. While there is no exact list of episodes that are canon, for the most part Season 1 is canon within this AU.
